On a scorching race day with temperatures exceeding 35°C (95°F), the Challenge Brasil organizers faced a critical athlete welfare challenge: how to provide effective recovery zones to combat heat-related medical issues. Standard tents would simply become dangerous heat traps, risking athlete heatstroke, negative media coverage, and severe damage to their reputation as a safety-conscious event organizer.
